From Least Privilege to Intelligent Approvals: Deep Dive into EPM, MAA, and Tasks in Intune
Friday April 24, 2026 09:00 - 10:00 CEST
As endpoint environments grow more complex, controlling high impact administrative actions—such as privilege elevation, sensitive configuration changes, and security critical operations—has become just as important as managing devices themselves. In this session, we’ll take a deep dive into how Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), Multi Admin Approval (MAA), and Admin Tasks work together in Microsoft Intune to provide strong governance, visibility, and operational control—with and without AI.
We’ll start with the non AI foundations, explaining how EPM enforces least privilege access through policy based elevation, how MAA protects sensitive actions by requiring approvals, and how Admin Tasks centralize these requests into a single, actionable workflow. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of where each capability applies, how they interoperate, and how they support auditability, compliance, and Zero Trust principles in real world Intune environments.
From there, we’ll explore how AI and agent assisted capabilities enhance—but do not replace—these controls. We’ll look at how AI can provide contextual insights, impact analysis, and recommendations for elevation requests and approval workflows, helping admins make faster, better informed decisions while keeping humans firmly in control. We’ll also discuss how agent generated recommendations surface alongside traditional tasks, and how organizations can adopt these capabilities incrementally without disrupting existing governance models.

Using LOLBins to circumvent all your security - Even in 2026
Friday April 24, 2026 09:00 - 10:00 CEST
We all read about scary 0-day exploit or CVE popping up every now and then forcing us to take action.

However, did you know that most actors use Windows, to attack Windows? Meaning the built in tools and features allowing for Living Of the Land (LOL) and their binaries (Bins). This session will showcase that an environment, protected by using EDR is still susceptible ti these types of attacks, even in Windows 11 and in the year 2026.

PowerShell: Designed for a Messy World
Friday April 24, 2026 13:45 - 14:45 CEST
The world IT Pros live in is messy. Legacy systems that never got upgraded, new systems built as if history doesn't exist, and standards with spotty coverage at best.  Also, Microsoft has a long, distinguished history of abandoning technologies after getting people completely committed to them - VBScript, Silverlight, Zune, take your pick.

PowerShell’s architecture was designed from day one for third-party extensibility, so that even if we got killed, you could keep going. This talk details those mechanisms.

Application Control in the Real World: Deep Dive into Structure, Signing, and Deployment
Friday April 24, 2026 13:45 - 14:45 CEST
Application Control for Business (ACfB) is one of the most powerful security layers in Windows, but implementing it at scale is far from trivial. In this deep dive, we’ll go beyond the basics and dissect the ACfB policy structure, explore common pitfalls (think app GUID mismatches, XML syntax quirks, and supplemental policy chaos), and uncover why the “simple” act of signing your policies can completely derail your deployment strategy.

We’ll walk through the end-to-end signing process, with special focus on Azure Trusted Signing Services, how it works, what to trust, and how to integrate it into automated pipelines without breaking your rollout. All of this will be framed in the context of Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs), but the principles apply equally to broader enterprise scenarios. We’ll also show how to scale up or peel back security layers for less restrictive environments while maintaining operational efficiency.
Expect real-world lessons, live demos, and battle-tested best practices that will help you avoid costly mistakes and build a robust ACfB implementation strategy.

Secure boot chain update - What, how, you are already late!
Friday April 24, 2026 13:45 - 14:45 CEST
Secure Boot is a foundational platform security feature within UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) that ensures only trusted and verified code is allowed to be executed during the system boot process. The chain of trust during boot is established through Secure Boot certificates stored in the firmware trust database (DB), which are pre-installed by OEMs during device manufacturing. The current Secure Boot trust certificates used to validate Windows and third-party boot loaders are approaching expiration and must be updated to the new set of certificates released by Microsoft in 2023 to maintain platform integrity and ensure continued device security and update compliance. In this session —“Secure Boot Chain Update: What, How, You Are Already Late!” — we will cover:
  • Why updating Secure Boot certificates is critical for maintaining device trust and servicing continuity
  • How to monitor certificate update status and deployment status across your enterprise fleet
  • Recommended approaches to safely update your devices
  • Troubleshooting Secure Boot update issues
